BlockTheSpot

Video, audio & banner adblock/skip for Spotify

Current Version: 0.1

Features:

  • Windows only
  • Set and forget
  • Blocks all banner ads within the app
  • Blocks all video ads within the app
  • Unlocks the skip function for any track

Known Issues:

  • Videos within public playlists curated by Spotify will not play
  • Spotify Premium audio ads might play, however these can be skipped (by clicking the Next button) whereas normally they can't

Install/Uninstall:

Drop netutils.dll inside the Spotify installation folder (next to Spotify.exe).

The default Spotify installation location is: C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Spotify

To uninstall, simply delete netutils.dll.
