Welcome to the lazygit wiki!
I only just realised that you could even make Wiki's on Github.
As my first act as lazygit's wiki moderator, I declare this space... publicly editable!
Here you will hopefully find all the information you need to understand how various lazygit features work and what git commands are running behind the scenes. If you believe that documentation around a feature is lacking, feel free to contribute yourself or raise an issue asking for more documentation.
